Faith-Michele James' gallery work focuses primarily on female archetypes and iconography in contemporary culture.
Recent projects include "WomanDance: Invoking the Divine Feminine," which honors the courage of modern female belly dancers in their search to re-connect with their feminine power, and “ Inside The Glass Box,” which examines how the emotional affects of fashion mannequins reflect and encourage dysfunctional psychological states in women.
Faith is also a volunteer photographer for the Heart Gallery, a national organization that uses fine art photography to create gallery-quality portraits of foster children to increase their chances of being adopted.
Faith divides her time between Los Angeles, California, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she lives with two dogs and Moe, the coolest cat in the universe.
